So this past weekend you participated in the kidz love soccer program.  You were nervous, super shy and didn’t want to come out of your shell.  Daddy and Mommy are super proud of you for wanting to go back for another attempt.  We love you with all our hearts and know your confidence and self esteem will grow with time.

I was sick and was a little disappointed that I couldn’t get the most out of my weekend with you.  I was pretty weak and the meds took the life out of me.  I fought through it and tried to make it as fun as I could with the little energy that I had.  You were your usual self and showed me so much love.  You helped with all the chores and cooking of the meals, and also helped tucked me in at night. 🙂 You are such a sweet and loving person! Thinking I was asleep you made sure the blanket was on top of me and also gave me a quick squeeze that almost made me tear. I love you so much.  Your good behavior earned some good dessert and trip to the store to get a small toy.  You were very appreciative and gave me a big hug to say thank you.  On our way home, you mentioned that you love me and that it’s important to not only love one person, but to love everyone in our family as well.   I can’t wait to make up for a “slow” weekend.
